Big Salmon River Bridge

This project consisted of a 125 m long structure crossing the Big Salmon River. The superstructure spans were 60 m and 65 m with 3-2.4 m deep girder that were haunched to 3.6 m deep at the pier. The structure width was 11.4 m. The substructure consisted of both abutments founded on engineered fill and the pier was supported by a structural tremie foundation contained by a steel sheet pile cofferdam.
